Place brush on the terrace by 7:00 a.m. with the cut ends toward the road. Please leave branches as long as possible as this will save you and our crews' time. Brush is considered limbs and branches from trees and large shrubs. All other woody vegetation such as plant stalks, small bush trimmings, etc. will not be collected. This type of material can be taken to the compost site on Highway Q. south of the Village. If you have a contractor trim or prune your trees or bushes, they are responsible for the removal of the brush. Collection begins Monday and is completed within the week when Public Works has gone through the entire Village.

Students all across Waunakee supported their neighbors by donating their gently used school supplies at the end of the school year – now you can help get the supplies ready for distribution! Help us sort and organize these donations so we can hit the ground running when school starts this Fall! Not able to help those days? We’re also looking for donations of paper bags (plain on at least one side, with handles) - drop them off at WNC during donation hours!

Bring blankets, chairs, a bottle of wine...anything you desire to set up your evening picnic. Concerts are free to all and all are welcome! Bands will change weekly, as will the genre of music.
