  1. Wauktoberfest

    September 13, 2019 - September 15, 2019 @ Endres Manufacturing

    This three-day fall festival offers activities and entertainment for the entire family. This year's event includes beer, wine and bourbon tasting. Contests for everyone are scheduled including a Texas Hold'em Tournament, Frau Carry, Sauerkraut and Limburger cheese eating competition, a Yodeling contest, Beer Keg Race and even a Dachshund Dash. Live music, kids' games and food is available all three days

  2. Brush Pick-Up Week

    September 16, 2019, All Day

    Place brush on the terrace by 7:00 a.m. with the cut ends toward the road. Please leave branches as long as possible as this will save you and our crews' time. Brush is considered limbs and branches from trees and large shrubs. All other woody vegetation such as plant stalks, small bush trimmings, etc. will not be collected. This type of material can be taken to the compost site on Highway Q. south of the Village. If you have a contractor trim or prune your trees or bushes, they are responsible for the removal of the brush. Collection begins Monday and is completed within the week when Public Works has gone through the entire Village.

    The Waunakee Area Farmers Market makes it easy to enjoy farm fresh, locally produced, delicious goodness throughout the growing season. With a goal of promoting a healthy lifestyle for our community, we bring vendors together who provide a wide variety of fresh, quality produce, homemade goods and handmade products. New seasonal selections available every week. The Market is an outlet for local growers to sell there goods, connect with the community and preserve Wisconsin's unique agricultural heritage.

  4. Cars in the Park

    September 21, 2019, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Village Park

    All makes, models and years. This annual event is open to car enthusiasts entering their vehicle in the show and community members simply interested in checking out all the top-notch entries. Cars can be registered on site beginning at 8:00 AM for a fee of $5.00. Food will be available for purchase. There is no fee for spectators, but donations to the local food pantry are encouraged. Cars will be judged by participant's choice and awards will be presented at 3:00 PM. For more information contact Chris Neumaier at 608-849-7760 or Sheldon Hamilton at 608-712-5994.

This 11th annual event is open to car enthusiasts entering their vehicle in the show and community members simply interested in checking out all of the top-notch entries. Cars can be registered on site beginning at 8:00 am for a fee of $5.00. There is food on site to be purchased and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Waunakee Food Pantry. There is no fee for spectators, but donations for the local food pantry are encouraged. Cars will be judged by participant’s choice and awards will be presented at 3:00pm.   2. Red Cross Blood Drive

    The Waunakee Village Center is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive from 12:00 pm to 5:00pm on Friday, Sept.27, 2019. To sign up for an appointment or for eligibility questions please call 1-800-GIVELIF(E) or go to www.redcrossblood.org. Volunteers are also needed to help aid the donors. Volunteer shifts begin at 11:45 am, 1:45 pm and 3:45pm If you are unable to volunteer your time but would like to help out, consider donating snacks or beverages for the donors and volunteers.
