Village Center employees will be traveling to Village parks to play sports, games and make arts-n-crafts. This is a FREE two-hour program perfect for ages 5 to 10 years and no registration is required. Just show up at the park ready to play!

Open Book refers to a period of time before Board of Review when the completed assessment roll is open for examination. At Open Book, the assessor is allowed to make any changes that are necessary to perfect the assessment roll. Instructional materials on appealing an assessment value to the Board of Review are available. The deadline for providing notice to intent to object will be due to the Village Clerk's office by 5:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2019. All persons who have questions or concerns pertaining to their property assessment are encouraged to contact the assessor throughout the year.

The Waunakee Police Department will be hosting National Night
Out at Village Park on Main Street. National Night out is designed to: (1) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness; (2)
Generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts;(3) Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and (4) Send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and united with police to make Waunakee a safe community to live. There will be activities for kids, prizes, free brats and hot dogs, and numerous displays by various law enforcement agencies. Members of the community are encouraged to sign up to win one of the many prizes to be given away.
